Front: The front depicts a sailing ship at sea alongside decorative shells and tropical flowers. In the background, worshipers are gathered near a church surrounded by a cemetery and palm trees—a scene characteristic of the Cook Islands' strong Christian traditions. Text appears in both English and Māori.
Back: The back represents the Ngaputoru island group and Mangaia. A crab and a mangala kingfisher appear alongside two men with a canoe, a tropical plant, a map of the islands, and a ship. A "Ngaputoru & Mangaia" banner identifies the islands depicted.
UNC uncirculated condition.
During the printing process on many modern notes, a dimple is created where the security thread is on the edge of the note (sometimes called a counting tick), when the notes are run through high speed counters. This does not disqualify the note as UNC.Shipping
