This 500-peso note was the first denomination in the Banco de México’s banknote Familia G that features designs representing Mexico’s historical and natural heritage; its design theme is the Reform and the Restoration of the Republic.
It was named the Best New Banknote at the 2019 Latin American High Security Printing Conference.

Back: The back shows gray whales in the coastal, marine, and island ecosystem of the El Vizcaíno Biosphere Reserve in Baja California Sur. The text is in Spanish.
UNC uncirculated condition.
During the printing process on many modern notes, a dimple is created where the security thread is on the edge of the note (sometimes called a counting tick), when the notes are run through high speed counters. This does not disqualify the note as UNC.Shipping
