This 100 somoni note was issued on October 30, 2025, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the somoni currency, and was honored as the Best Commemorative Banknote at the High Security Printing conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on December 2, 2025. It is the first banknote in the world to use the RollingStar Venus windowed security thread.

Front: Ismoil Somoni (849–907), founder of the Samanid state, is depicted at the right of the front face. The Samanid mausoleum appears at the center, with the national coat of arms and a 25th anniversary logo at the upper left. A purple-to-green color-shifting patch (RollingStar) is visible at the lower left, and the bank logo serves as a registration device.
Back: Tajikistan’s new parliament building is depicted at the center of the back, with the national flag at right and the bank logo as a registration device. A 6-mm wide purple-to-orange color-shifting windowed security thread (RollingStar Venus) with demetalized 100 lettering and nested concave hexadecagons is visible at the right, in English and Tajik text.
UNC uncirculated condition.
During the printing process on many modern notes, a dimple is created where the security thread is on the edge of the note (sometimes called a counting tick), when the notes are run through high speed counters. This does not disqualify the note as UNC.Shipping
