The 50-peso dominicano note of the Banco Central de la República Dominicana's 2017–2025 series brings together the two most important churches in the country: the Catedral Primada de América in Santo Domingo, the oldest standing cathedral in the Americas, and the Basílica Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia at Higüey, the shrine of the national patroness.

Front: The front carries the Catedral Primada de América in Santo Domingo, formally the Catedral de Santa María la Menor and the oldest standing cathedral in the Americas, consecrated in 1541. At upper right is the Central Bank's logo, a stylized rendering of its headquarters building. Also on the front are blossoms of the Rose of Bayahibe, the Dominican national flower — a leafy cactus rather than a true rose — and the seal of the Banco Central de la República Dominicana. Lettering throughout is in Spanish.
Back: The back shows the Basílica Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia in Salvaleón de Higüey, the shrine of Our Lady of Altagracia, patroness of the Dominican Republic, and the country's principal place of pilgrimage.
UNC uncirculated condition.
During the printing process on many modern notes, a dimple is created where the security thread is on the edge of the note (sometimes called a counting tick), when the notes are run through high speed counters. This does not disqualify the note as UNC.Shipping
